Closing Arc + Anterior Lunge

Exercise 4:

Closing Arc SA M>M / Mid-Band 90° + Anterior Lunge

You should start by standing at an angle of 90° to the mid band (or cable) anchor point.

The closing arc involves moving a relatively straight arm against the resistance of the band, leading with the front of your hand, such that the angle at the front of your shoulder closes. Arcing through the transverse plane from mid level to mid level.

The anterior lunge performed in this exercise involves taking a step forward so that the leading leg descends into hip, knee and ankle flexion. The rear leg moves into hip extension and you naturally come up on your toes on the back foot.
