Find A KLT Coach
Ellen completed her Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) degree at Sydney University in 1999, followed by a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at Griffith University in 2005. She has always had a keen interest in sports and over the past decade has relished every opportunity to assist teams from many sports including netball, basketball, BMX racing, hockey and all codes of football.
Ellen spent a few years from 2006 working at RAAF Base Williamtown where she developed a special interest in treating neck and back injuries sustained by fast jet pilots. This highly specialised population required bespoke treatment plans and fast, effective results. Ellen was commissioned as a Flight Lieutenant in the RAAF Specialist Reserves in 2007.
Moving to Perth in 2008, Ellen worked with the Australian Men’s Hockey Team, the Kookaburras until 2017. Travelling extensively with the team as their sole Physiotherapist, Ellen attended two Olympic Games (Bronze medal 2012), two Commonwealth Games (Gold medal 2010, 2014) and two World Cups (Gold medal 2010 & 2014). She also worked as the sole Physiotherapist for Team Bermuda at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
